Neutral pared back living with a Swedish slant was the brief for this grand Victorian semi on a tree-lined Hammersmith Street. Key accents for this client’s design aesthetic are soft grey porcelain and neutral paint shades, shaker painted joinery paired with blonde woods, and the clean lines of a crittal-lined extension to the side and rear. Three crittal walls and multiple skylights were incorporated into the back kitchen extension to open up the space and flood light through. Layouts were completely redesigned throughout the house and the neutral scheme mixing pale woods, greyed off stones and spray painted units create a calm organic scheme, perfect for laid back living. Beautiful bespoke joinery is a key feature of this build, as it facilitates the clean spaces, free from clutter. The formal areas are peppered with a few stylish antiques which sit comfortably within the scheme. Zulufish created a spacious master suite, with a slick walk in wardrobe, leading onto a large ensuite. The same palette rolls through the property, unifying the design style through the house. This beautiful tranquil home will be a calm foil to busy London life.
