Founded in 2005, Zulufish is a multi-award-winning interior design consultancy, architectural practice and design & build specialist based in West London. We offer a full range of interior design and architectural services, alongside a comprehensive design & build package.

We have a wealth of experience in transforming sometimes challenging properties into exceptional living spaces, creating homes that perfectly reflect our customers’ personalities, tastes and design values. Experts in seamlessly integrating the old and new, we marry the latest technologies and finishes with creative and intelligent space planning. The spaces we create don’t simply look fantastic, we design them to feel fantastic too.

Our multi-faceted team offers a comprehensive range of specialist skills across the full spectrum of interiors, architecture and construction, resulting in an outstanding portfolio of projects. We pride ourselves on developing excellent client relationships, which result in an extremely high proportion of repeat business and word-of-mouth recommendations.

As members of RIBA (the Royal Institute of British Architects) and the BIID (British Institute of Interior Designers) we fully understand the need for creative design, careful planning and timely project execution. In further commitment to that cause we are currently in the process of integrating ISO 9001 through all our workstreams, resulting in continuous evaluation and improvement through all our systems and processes.

Felix Milns

Felix Milns — Founder & Advisor

Zulufish was founded in 2005 by property developer Felix Milns. Conceived to offer the client the design and build service that he had been unable to find as a client, Zulufish puts customer service, innovative design and expert project management as the cornerstones of construction.

Every personal development that Felix has ever undertaken has broken local sales price records, and we bring the same level of design-led and budget-conscious attention to detail to our clients’ projects, taking great pride in not just the end product, but also the manner in which both the design and build are conceived and delivered.

While Felix remains a key advisor for Zulufish, his day job is running Zulufish’s sister company HUX, a market-leading joinery specialist that creates bespoke kitchens, cabinetry and furniture for a wide range of discerning private clients and design professionals.

Patrick Owens

Patrick Owens — Head of Architecture

Our in-house architectural design team is headed up by Patrick Owens, who has 15 years of experience extending London homes up, down and out, with a background of working for award-winning architectural practices specialising in residential properties.

A fully qualified RIBA part III Architect, Patrick has run the Zulufish design department since 2015, during which time he has successfully navigated dozens of complex planning applications and designed multiple award-winning homes. Patrick oversees all of our design projects and client relationships all the way through the design and tender process.

Caroline Milns

Caroline Milns — Head of Interior Design

From a young age Caroline’s passion for travelling has informed both her design style and her love of colour and texture.  Through her early career as a specialist in textile design, she became a global expert on textiles, techniques and crafts, while garnering a deep understanding and refinement of colour.

Caroline has over 25 years experience at the cutting edge of design and interiors. She began her career as a textile designer for Monkwell fabrics, before progressing to manage a team of designers for the John Lewis home design studio. In 2007, Caroline re-trained as an interior designer, working for Helen Green and McVitty Interior Consultants on both residential and commercial projects, before launching the interiors arm of Zulufish.

Since that time, we have won many interior design awards and created some truly memorable projects, from villas in Croatia and high-end retail to large family homes in London and beyond.  Caroline firmly believes that good design can not only transform your home or workspace, but also your mental health and quality of life.

Alexander Watts

Alexander Watts — Head of Construction

Born and worked in Australia, Alex began his career as a carpenter in residential and new build constructions, until he moved to London in 2014 to work as a site then project manager on high-end refurbishments of grade 2 listed properties. After shifting his focus to basements Alex moved on to  project managing multiple high value projects for a company based in central London. 

Alex joined Zulufish in 2019 as Head of Construction. He is responsible for monitoring work and quality across all our building projects as well as managing the project management team and ensuring that each phase of the build is completed as planned. His main duty is to ensure that jobs are completed on time and within budget, and to the standard of Zulufish.

Antony Daniels

Antony Daniels — Finance Manager

South African born and bred, Antony is a Certified Public Accountant who spent the majority of his working career in finance for a Global IT company, as well as Finance Director in his family’s Civils and Plant Hire business, before moving to the UK in 2018. Antony joined Zulufish in October 2018 as Finance Manager. As our Finance Manager, Antony is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information to our clients, in-house departments and the board, and is supported by our accounts team. With his extensive experience in operations and finance, Antony is responsible for the supervision and management of all the financial and administrative functions for Zulufish.
